In an era when suffering is reduced to chemicals in the brain, wrong thoughts or bad genes, the heart calls out to us. We are not bottles to be filled with medication or manualised treatment protocols but people who yearn to connect to our inner life, other people and life itself.
We can wait for life to change, or we can change instead. We can spend an entire life time living on the run, never realising we are running from our feelings and what provokes them. We might be running into your fantasies and, when they do not materialise, rather then giving up on our fantasies, mistakenly give up on life.
Or we can face our wounding and pain. I will guide you on the journey to strengthen yourself and then to embrace what you most fear. In that place you will find acceptance and you will no longer need to avoid or overcompensate.
Returning to who you are and what is real, facing what you avoided will heal you. Then you can start to reclaim the wisdom in yourself that you had sought in others.
My role will be completed and your path will await you. Your seeing, hearing, feeling and listening will change, and with these changes the barriers will dissolve between you and what is. You will feel connected to life, yourself and others, your soul will soar and you will able to start the journey of manifesting the inner changes in the outer reality.
Welcome to Good Life Psychology
Good Life Psychology strives to provide excellence in psychological therapy by integrating psychological models with a focus on individual subjective experience and a social justice ethos.
The programmes we offer are designed to be efficient, effective, financially accessible, practical, based on cutting-edge science available in the field of psychology and enjoyable. They aim to create a deep and lasting change, to help us achieve states of ease, openness and joy, rediscover pleasure and reconnect us with our drives and instinctive ability and willingness to take action for our own and the common good.
Let's work together
When I see people in the Initial Consultation they often ask: “Why do I feel anxious? Why do I feel low?
Embody Resilience Group
In these times of ever increasing change and loss of belief in the wisdom of received authorities we are faced with profound challenges.
The old way to “just work hard and play by the rules” is no longer enough.
How can we respond?
Woodland Therapy Group
Benefits of spending time in nature for well-being have been well documented. At the time when meeting people indoors has been made more difficult, nature offers us a safe place to connect to others, to revitalise and enrich our senses.
Love is a Practice
Insight alone is not enough to bring a lasting change. Recent neuro-psychotherapy research points to the enormous plasticity of the brain even in adulthood. It also suggests regular PRACTICES can remodel the brain – both in terms brain chemistry (ie hormones) as well as structure and size of elements of the brain.
Psychotherapeutic Approach
I work flexibly, integrating psychological models and engaging with the recent research in the pursuit of knowledge that serves the interests of people and communities more broadly.
